Happy Memorial Day!

Today is the day of the Felton Remembers Parade!  It closes down Hwy 9 for a few hours (one year before I knew about the parade I went for a cup of coffee in town and it took 2 hours since the road was blocked)  It is so much fun to wave and clap at our service men and women.  And, they throw candy!  Thank you for all you do for our country!
Luckily, we can walk to the parade.
and it is a beautiful day!
finding a good spot and waiting for it to start.
Girl scouts lead the parade.

Luke is a little nervous with all the noise.

Music by the Clampers!
Jack thought that this car was the sheriff from Cars.
And off to the cover bridge park for more fun.

Looks like the perfect old-fashioned, all-American way to celebrate Memorial Day! So nice to live in a small rural town.
