Picnic with a squirrel

When we go to the aquarium we usually then go for a picnic lunch and a little tide pooling and last time was no exception.
It was a beautiful day and thankfully didn't start raining until we headed home.

This very friendly squirrel took a liking to us and wanted to see what we brought for lunch.
I do not have a very good zoom lens on my camera so this squirrel got a bit to close for my comfort.

Luke on the other hand liked him a lot.
After I shooed him away and he went to watch us from a nice safe distance Luke went to wave bye.

WW: random

And what was in all those eggs....money and candy (score)!

Look at these lashes....to die for!

Luke showing off what time it is on his new lego watch.
Not that he can tell time cuz he keeps asking me what his watch says!

Egg hunt

We had the obligatory egg hunt - we could have 20 of them as the boys love finding things!

Luke did a good job trying to keep up with Jack.

And Jack did a great job counting his eggs. (he can count to 100, but we didn't have that many eggs!)

Luke can count to 14 and keep abbey from eating his eggs!

Congrats in order.

We interrupt
our previously scheduled blog post to say congratulations to my "little" brother Jake and his new fiancee Diana!
She is a fabulous addition to our family!
Look how patiently she is explaining the small camera to Luke!

And showing the boys Angry Birds on her ipad!

And then there is Uncle Jake...tossing the boys around!

I am extremely happy for them and they are so good together!
And bonus...I get a sister!

Leopard sharks

Since the big tank is closed at the aquarium (for a year), we have been digging the leopard sharks instead of the hammerhead sharks.  I really do wonder where they have put those hammerhead sharks...

Do you see the sun fish hiding in the sand?  (or maybe they are flounder...)

I loved this pile of star fish!
I must say that going to the aquarium on spring break was a crazy idea!  It was soooooooo crowded!

WW: boys together

I try and try to get a picture of both of the boys looking good together...

I think that these really show their personalities as well as one good picture!

Which one is your favorite?

1st slippy slide of the season

Granted I thought it was a bit cold to be taking off all your clothes and running around in the yard...the kids did not.

Even Merritt got in of the action with some help from his daddy!

Fun was had by all! It was a wonderful preview to SUMMER!!
