I remember when Luke was just born and we would pine for the days when they could play together and be best friends... For the first year or so Jack pretty much ignored Luke unless it was to pull what ever toy Luke had that Jack wanted out of his hands, but Luke didnt care. Well, now he cares!
Starting on Sunday, we will have a terrible 2 year old and a terrible 3 year old...what were we thinking!
Jack and Luke do now "play" together. They run off and destroy things (like the shades in their bedroom). They both bite and I have to deceiver the teeth marks on the bitten skin to see who really did it. They can go about 5 minutes alone with out one of them crying. If it is a longer period of time, say 10 minutes, they are usually up to no good. Jack is great at getting Luke to do something bad like put his foot on the dinner table, scream at the top of his lungs, or smash food in his hair. Luke is pretty good at blaming Jack for hurting him, even when Jack is not in the room...
Luke adores Jack and tries to do everything that he does and I know that Jack loves having a playmate, but I think we are gonna need lots of prayers to get thru the next year with a 2 year old and a 3 year old who are both all boy!

I wish you all the best in the world and you will get by just fine while the boys are this young, just remember to BREATHE, and to pick your battles wisely. Sometimes it's just better to let something go if no real harm is being done.
