My favorite ride that we we went on....someday I will get my day with a roller coaster!
Kids do change everything!

Bumper cars

Kiddie bumper cars...who knew?

Only 5 of them and Jack and Luke were the littlest.
(Hopefully they grow by next year, because other 4 yr olds were going on rides that Jack wasn't tall enough for.)

Luke couldn't reach the pedal so he had to ride with his brother.
(I really can't wait for Luke to be tall enough because he likes the roller coasters!!)

Boys did spend most of the ride in the corner with us trying to tell them to turn the wheel and step on the gas.
It was really funny to watch them - and none of us (me, Loren, Trish, Jake or Diana ever want to drive with them)

Snoopyland

Apparently, Great America has been taken over by Peanuts!
It has probably been about 15 years since I last went to Great America...
and a lot has changed! And, I still love it!

Boys were much happier with the non animated character.
Luke did high five Snoopy during the walk-a-thon and commented that he was soft.

Much more fun to climb on him.
Great America did a GREAT job decorating for Halloween!

JDRF walk a thon

Today we did the JDRF walk a thon with Trish.

It was at Great America (decorated for Halloween)!

We "walked" 2 miles and Trish raised a lot of money for a a very good cause.
(Some of us got a ride!)

It was a very good time and the boys really did walk quite a bit!
At the finish line, snoopy was waiting to say "good job".
And then we got to go to Great America...more pix to come.
It was a great day!

End of summer

 Last weekend seemed to be the end of summer and probably our last "summer" beach visit.

Amazing that next year we can probably stay longer because the boys will be done with naps.

(done with naps is a very sad thing that I am not looking forward to!)

 It was a beautiful day and we were at Crows Nest beach!

Lots of digging and wave playing...it was also a full moon that make the waves crazy!

So happy that both boys are not afraid of the ocean...to an extent!

We keep our eyes on them at all moments!

And with this crazy tide, we stayed very close!

The waves came up so high that they took out our blanket.

We moved to higher ground.

Another family stuff got very wet!

 Jack and Luke had fun jumping off the "cliff".
