Why I've been missing

We have been hit hard by the flu bug. Starting with Loren last Saturday (I have never seen him so sick) Then the boys got it on Monday...these are pix from Monday - before I got sick...

  

Then I got it on Tuesday afternoon...we are not a pretty crowd. Luke was the first to recover on Wednesday, but not so lucky for the rest of us. We all have a terrible cough and wheeze that hurts my lungs.

 I think I am the last sick one as everyone else seems pretty good today, tho we all did need naps - including Loren when he got home from work.

Grumpy to happy

 I am having major issues getting pictures to post to this blog...

I had a bunch of posts, but the pictures wont post...

I am hoping that his one will work, but it isn't the easiest thing in the world.

Anyway,  here is grumpy Luke playing keyboard.

 And here is happy Jack playing keyboard (Keyboard is a keyboard that is hooked up to the TV where the boys can play lots of learning games with Thomas the Train, Race Car, Bob the Builder...my awesome in laws gave this to the boys for xmas a few years ago and now they are able to play it - well, Jack can play it and Luke tries to play it and then gets mad and hits his brother)

Might San Lorenzo river for a 3rd time!

 Lets hope that the 3rd times a charm....if blogger/picasa keep this up I will no longer have a blog!!

On the bright side, the weather is beautiful today!

 This is the bridge we used to go over to get to the boys school.

It is probably now at sea!

More rain

This is the San Lorenzo River...it is usually 2 to 4 feet high.

Not anymore! It swelled up to 20 feet! Big trees go down the river and out to sea!

We (along with a whole lot of other people) went to check the river out. Luke wasn't so excited about it...

Thankfully, to day is beautiful and no rain in the forecast for 7 days!!!

Rain, rain go away

I am sooooooooooooooo over the rain.
It is impossible to keep these boys couped up in the house all day,
but they can not go in the back yard.
It is a swamp!

Standing water everywhere and it just keeps coming!

We went to Costco today and it was crazy how many mud slides and downed trees we saw.
Highway 17 and 9 are closed and a small fence was holding up a mud slide on Graham Hill.

Actually it was scary and we came back home after Costco instead of running more errands.
