Meet the newest Fontinell!

I hope everyone had a very fun Thanksgiving!
I sure did...which is why I did have time to take any pix.
All day cooking and then all night eating!

Anyway, I would like to introduce the newest memeber of the family!
Timmy L Fontinell

We got him a week ago and he has just fit in amazingly!

And the boys are over joyed....they really need a dog as Luke likes to wrestle with him...and carry him around the house.  He has put up with it very well.  Luke only has a few scratches!

Pre Thanksgiving Game time

My FIL had a party for T day.
And Nonna got to play 2 games with 2 boys!
She is talented!

Chess with Jack and checkers with Luke.

And the admiring cousins watching.
Poppy did finish the game with Luke to increase the pace of the games...so the kids could play tag!

Beyblade playdate

After a very long hiatus....beyblades are back!

Seriously, these boys have not touched a bey in 6 months,
and now all we hear is "three, two, one...let 'em rip"

Made the cat jump a foot the first time he heard it!

Murphys park

Seriously, the little town of Murphys, CA has the cutest park.

And with the 75 degree weather we had ths weekend it was fun to go out and play.

This park has a fabulous play structure, and it is were Jack learned to swing all by his self...
but now they are too big for playgrounds and headed to the river.

In the summer they go in the river, but this trip was for leaf/stick floating.
They could spend hours doing it!

Heather house walk

We are up at Uncle Bill and Auntie Kate's house for the long weekend.
It is beautiful!!

Sadly, Luke is not feeling so well...so we can not be far from a potty...
Poor kid!

We went on a walk in the morning

Jack was not so happy about going on a walk.

He reminded me of my childhood when my dad would take me on hikes...and I hated it.

but then I like it.
Luke didn't get to walk with us because his belly is under the weather,
but Jack got stuck walking with me and he found deer antlers.
So totally cool!

And pine cones...I might have been the most excited about pine cones...

But Jack found deer antlers!

Jack and the dentist

On Tuesday, Jack went to the dentist to have 2 front teeth removed.
He was very, very brave.
His giant permanent tooth was coming up behind the 2 baby teeth, but the baby teeth were not budging.
When I took him back to school afterwords, he was the talk of the class with his big novocaine lip and 2 missing teeth!

Luke (also missing the same tooth, but it came out naturally) wanted a pix taken too...
That is his cool guy impression.

Flashback - First Day of school

Since I haven't blogged in awhile, I do have a few older pix to share.

Like the first day of school!  Jack in 2nd and Luke in 1st grade.
Where has the time gone!

Happy dance for me because Luke gets home at the same time as Jack (2:45 instead of 11:45) so I actually get to exercise more in addition to work from home.  I really need the exercise!

I was a rough couple of months of school...but they seem to be settling in now.
Less sobbing!
Luke has Jack's 1st grade teacher that I LOVE and Jack's teacher is equally as awesome!
This year I help out in the classroom too for both boys which is very cool.

Halloween _ Lincoln Style

Our neighbors put on the most awesome block party for Halloween!

Food, games, decorations, prizes...

It was fun to see everyone all dressed up.

And amazing what a great job they did, considering it was a Thursday.

They were just starting when I got home from work.

I do not know who this kid is but he is the best Cap'n Jack Sparrow ever!!

And then we moved on to a bit of trick or treating.

It was crazy crowded, but none of the 8 kids got lost...not for lack of trying in some cases!
