4th of July parade - Lincoln style

We had a block party for the 4th of July.

A few other neighbors organized it and it was fantastic.

The bike parade went in a few different directions ,
and no children were lost!

There was a huge turn out and it was really nice to meet "new" neighbors and reconnect with old ones!

And the kids played all day and into the night!
2 bounce houses, water balloons and soccer!

We have the best neighbors!!

It has been a really, really, really sucky time for us since April.
And even tho it has rained for the 1st 2 days of my vacation, I like to think that things are getting better.

One bright spot in the past few months has been baseball.
It was a good season!

And the second bright spot has been our wonderful neighborhood.
Im am so thankful that our little road has turned into such a nice place to raise kids.

I will try to get back more to blogging, but life sure knows how to knock the wind out of you.

 

 

Jack's baseball

While Jack doesn't have any more game until mid April....

I just found out that he has 3 practices a week to prepare...

3 a week....sheesh!

WW: its that time of year again!

We are really busy, but Loren is super busy!!

It is a ton of fun and the kids are so cute!

Looking forward to next year when, hopefully, they will be on the same team!

The too small cake for 17 kids...Safeway has no idea what they are doing!

The funny part was when Jack blew all but one candle out with his nose!
He didn't mean to at all, but when we told him to take a big breath....his nose did all the work!

 

Bday party fun

We finally had Jack's birthday party this past weekend...

The pictures never come out quite right because it is so dark at Santa Cruz Gymnastics!

This is seriously the BEST place to have a birthday party!
And it is the 3rd time that Jack has had his party here...it is all about the foam pit!

And, jumping in the foam pit and throwing foam and getting buried in foam!

17 kids in 1.5 hours of fun!
