Jack and the glove

Boys love baseball and are learning how to play with gloves and all.

Thankfully, Jack has had a haircut since these pix so his "wings" are gone!

Last year it was all about the rain boots and this year it is flip flops.

And sunglasses...

He is also partial to the orange shirt and red sweats combo...ugh.

Wonder how he is going to dress when he is 16?

Luke is such a "helper" in the kitchen and thankfully he is actually starting to be helpful, sort of.
We made peperoni puffs (with low fat salami) and they were really good and easy.
Of course I forgot to take a pix of the final, cooked puffs.
And, needless to say, we all loved them!

Rainy day hopscotch

Gotta love painters tape!
We had a cold and rainy day today all stuck in the house.

It was a loooong day.
I tried to keep them as active as I could.
a few obstacle courses, hopscotch, a fort and wii!

Tree Climbing

And, after a good car hunt, it is time for some tree climbing!

It is nice to see that the boys can play together - alone - for a little while before the fighting begins!

Of course they did argue about who would climb the tree first...

This is like the boys favorite activity...hunting for hidden stuff.
That and i spy, but this will keep them entertained for quite some time (score!).

Bat Luke

We went to a birthday party over the weekend and Luke had his face painted for the first time.
At first he wanted a butterfly, but I thought he might like batman.
Stereotypes...I know.

The face painter was so patient and did all the kids (except Jack) who mainly where girls.
She was awesome!
Which is why Luke wanted the butterfly.

Luke sat next to the birthday girl in hopes that he could blow out the candles.
I didn't work. Her older brother did it!
