turned out to be a pretty popular day to visit
(they all seem to be popular)

Throwing the abalone shell....Jack has come a long way from not putting his hands in the water,
let alone touching stuff. He thinks starfish are cool!

Beautiful picnic

On the way home from the aquarium, we had a picnic in Pacific Grove.
We found a beautiful spot along the coast, with out being in the sand, with lots of room for the
boys to run, run, run.

It was a perfect October day.

There were a lot of neat trees for the boys to run around and try to climb.

Loren and I ate sandwiches make from left over marinated tri tip from Freedom Meat Locker.
Yum!

My worst nightmare

Fish, need I say more?

I have discovered that is it dead or dying fish that freak me out the most.

When they are swimming by with lots of thick glass between us, they are not so bad.
So long as there isnt an earthquake...
Fish really do freak me out!

Gizdich apple picking

Today, we went apple picking.

It was a beautiful day and a beautiful place.

And, at the end of the day, there is pie with ice cream.


Notice how Jack's eyes are glued to the pie...they never left it.
That boy has a sweet tooth.

This what the first thing we found when we got to the ranch.

Surprisingly, they liked it, but it didnt hold their attention as long as I thought it would.
Only 5 minutes or so.

It was pretty cool tho
